This non-competitive 5k FUN RUN/WALK will take you on a magical journey through Seattle's Ravenna Park. Dress up as your favorite "Wizard" and join the fun! Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome and encouraged.

Q.  Do I need to sign a waiver?

Q.  What time do I pick up my packet?
A.  9-945am.

Q.  When is the race?
A.  September 30, 2023

Q.  Where do I pick up my packet?
A.  Ravenna Park (5520 Ravenna Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105)

Q.  Can I pick up the packets for my friends?
A.  Yes, you can pick up the bib but participants must be present to redeem drink tickets (when applicable), medal, and other swag.

Q.  What is included in the registration?
A.  Registration includes run/walk, finisher's medal, race photos, and extra swag!  


Q.  What's included in the FREE Kid's Registration?
A.  Previous year's medal and race only.  All FREE kid's registrations must be accompanied by a paid registration. We will automatically cancel any registrations without a paid registration.  If you want "this year's medal" & bib please pay for a registration.  

Q.  When does online registration close?
A.  Online registration will close approximately 2 days prior to the race date.

Q.  Does my registration come with a shirt?
A.  No.

Q.  Is there DAY OF Registration?
​A.  We welcome new participants! See specific race date for details on registration times on race day.  Cash or credit cards are all accepted. Please note, that there is a $10 race day fee. 

Q.  What's a virtual 5k? 
A.  A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. We will mail you your medal when we receive them.  Do not show up to the event, medals will be mailed after the event date.

Q.  Where is the race?

Q.  What is the race distance?

A.  Approximately 3.1 miles'ish

Q.  Are strollers/dogs allowed?  
A.  The trail is narrow, has roots, and there are stairs.  Use a stroller at your discretion.  Please do not bring dogs on the narrow trails.

Q.  Is the course hilly?
A.  It is a trail run, with roots, and uneven terrain.  Yes, there are hills.  The trail is open to the public- please abide by park rules.

Q.  Is this event timed?
A.  We do have a clock and manual timing, but it is not a chipped race.  

Q.  Where will results be posted?
A.  Results will be posted on the Facebook page as well as in an email.  Please do not request results within a week - be patient!

Q.  What does "cupless" mean?
A.  It means we are limiting the water stations at most of our races.  Please bring your own water.

Q. Can I wear headphones?
​A. We would prefer that you do not wear headphones for safety reasons.​

Q.  Do you offer prizes for the top finishers?

A.  Sometimes.  But please remember our races are "fun runs" and our focus is on providing all of the participants a positive, inclusive, and welcoming experience.


Q.  I heard you have UW football tickets for a discounted price?
A.  Yes, we do, click HERE and attend the 11/11 and 11/25 games!


Q.  Does this race benefit anything?

A.  American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.


Q. Do I need to dress up?
A. No. But if you happen to have a Wizards costume in your closet, wear it!

Q.  Are you accepting shoe donations?
A.  Yes!  We accept gently-used shoe donations.  We ship to GotSneakers.  Any proceeds go directly to the Everett Animal Shelter.

Q.  Where can I park?
A.  Please arrive early to find street parking.

Q.  Is there a bag check?
A.  No.

Q.  Do you have a raffle at this race?
A.  We typically conduct raffles included in registrations or you are asked to bring a donation to participate in the raffle.  IF we have a raffle, you will get advanced notice or ask us at the registration booth.

Q.  Do you offer discounts?

Q.  Who are the vendors or sponsors for the races?
A.  Vendors and sponsors change per race.  We cannot guarantee any vendor or sponsor per race.  

Q.  Do you offer free coffee or ice cream with the registration?
A.  Yes, sometimes.  Please do not expect additional freebies but be grateful when they are offered.
