  10/9/20:  A Message from Run 2 Be Fit:

  Thank you for being patient.  We finally got confirmation to hold  the Trick or Treat 5k on October 31, 2020 LIVE at Green Lake Park, Seattle!  


  • Packet pick up:  Everyone is required to wear a mask prior to running. We will provide a mask if you forget.  You cannot participate if you do not wear a mask to packet pickup.
  • Packets with bibs and medals will be preassembled and be distributed at packet pickup. 
  • We will have hand sanitizer available at the start/finish line. We will also be taking your temperature at packet pickup.
  • We will not have any aid stations, to eliminate points of contact. Please bring your own water.  The only point of contact will be at the registration table, socially distanced from the start line.
  • At the start line, waves of 4 or less people, socially distanced every 10 minutes.  Preassigned times will be given to you the week of the event.  Please do not show up prior to your assigned time.  These times will begin at 9am.
  • Restroom use will be available at the Greenlake Community Center.
  • Please maintain socially distanced rules at all times (including but not limited to the registration table/tent, start line, restroom, other runners and walkers on course).
  • Please do not invite race spectators.
  • There will be a photo booth set up for you to take pictures on your own.  Please follow social distance rules here as well.
  • Course route will be one loop around Greenlake counter-clockwise, according to park guidelines.
  • Everyone will have to leave when you finish. There are no after event festivities.
  • There will NOT be any day of registrations.  Please note that the event capacity is limited.
  • We will keep registration records for those that participate in person in case contact tracing is needed.
  • No race packets will be mailed unless you have signed up for the virtual option or have communicated with us prior to 10/26/20 that you would like to switch to the virtual option.

​Questions about the race
Q.  Where is the race?
A.  Green Lake Park (7201 E Green Lake Dr N, Seattle)

Q.  Is the race timed?
A.  Yes, but please remember that this is a FUN run/walk.  It is not chipped, but we do have a timing system.

Q. Are strollers/dogs allowed?
A. Yes, but please note that the path narrows on parts of the course. Please line up in the back upon starting the race. No charge for babies in strollers (but they won't get a medal unless you purchase a paid entry).

Q. Is it ok to walk if I've chosen the run/walk option?
A. Yes, of course!


Q. Can I wear headphones?
​A. We would prefer that you do not wear headphones for safety reasons.


Questions about registration

Q.  Can I get a refund or transfer to another race or runner?
A.  Yes, you can transfer to another race or runner.


  • One week prior to the race date - transfer to another race or transfer to another runner at NO CHARGE or $10 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time.
  • Less than one week prior to the race date - $10 to transfer to another race or transfer to another runner and $15 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time. These transfers will be processed after the race date.
  • If we cancel - registration fees minus admin. fees (excluding but not limited to, government mandated closure, natural disasters, fear of disease epidemic, weather, or anything beyond the control of the race directors - in these cases, please connect with us regarding transfers, deferments, virtual, and other options).
  • Please email us at info@run2befit.com to process transfers.


​​Q.  I couldn't make it to the event, can I get my medal and bib mailed to me?
A.  No, you must attend the event to receive medal/bib.  See transfer policy.

Q.  Does everyone get a finisher's medal?
A.  Please stay up to date on our race medal deadline. Each race will have a deadline to receive finisher's medals (typically 4-6 weeks prior to the race). After this date, we will no longer be guaranteeing medals.


Q. What comes with the kid's entry?
A. The kid's entry includes everything an adult entry would include, but at a lesser charge. Please only register for the kid's entry if the kid is 10 and under. The kid's entry will be listed under the person who purchased the registration (their name) or you can email us to update.

Q. What is a virtual race?
A. A Virtual 5K (or any other virtual race) is a race that you choose to complete where ever you would like. You can walk, run, use a treadmill, or participate in another race. The beauty of a virtual 5K race is that you can run the race at your pace wherever you choose. Do not show up to the race on race day, unfortunately, you will not be able to get your medal/bib. All bibs/medals will be mailed AFTER the race.

Q.  Can I get a refund or transfer to another race or runner?

A.  Yes, you can transfer to another race or runner.

One week prior to the race date - transfer to another race or transfer to another runner at NO CHARGE or $10 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time.
Less than one week prior to the race date - $10 to transfer to another race or transfer to another runner and $15 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time. These transfers will be processed after the race date.
If we cancel for any reason - 100% of the registration fees will be returned including any additional fees incurred through the registration process.

Q.  Can I transfer to a virtual race since I can no longer make on the day of the race or vice versa?
A.  Sorry, no transfers.  See transfer policy.

Q.  I couldn't make it to the race, can I pick up my medal or have it mailed to me?
A.  Sorry, but the medals are "finisher's" medals.  You must be present.  See transfer policy.

Miscellaneous questions
Q. Do I need to dress up?
A. No. But if you happen to have a costume, wear it!


Q.  How do I enter the costume contest?
A.  Show up to the registration table at approx 11am!


Q. Where can I park?
A. Please arrive early to find street parking.


​Q.  Is there bag check?
A.  No.  Unless you pay for VIP.


Q.  Do you offer goody bags?
A.  We offer reusable bags as a registration perk *new for 2020!


Q. Can I volunteer?
A Yes, please email us at info@run2befit.com. All volunteers get a free entry into a future race!


Q. Do you offer discounts?
A. Yes, please ask any PNW Ladies Running Group or Run 2 Be Fit Ambassadors for a discount!


Q.  What does "cupless" mean?
A.  It means we are limiting the water stations at most of our races.  Please bring your own water.
