TESTIMONIAL:

"Good morning. I have been a marathon runner from 2000 to 2015. Since then it’s really taking a backseat and I decided to start running again at the end of this November. Today I had my first long run of 6 miles. It was hard slow and cold for me. When I came home and got the mail my metal and Bib was in there was from you. I felt defeated after my slow run but when I saw my metal I felt like a hero. Perfect perfect timing. Thank you so much for getting that in the mail to me. A simple thing means so much and is going to be so life-changing to me as I get back into running and put my health first. All the best in 2020." Caitlin G.

Q.  Are the races in person or virtual?

A.  They are in person.  Most of our races have a virtual component/option.

Q.  WHO can do virtual 5ks?
A.  First-timers: Virtual races can provide the perfect stepping stone to a live event and help build the confidence you need to enter a race in the real world.

Veteran racers: On the other end of the spectrum, virtual races can provide seasoned racers with a flexible alternative to traditional races at a lower cost without the constraints of having to train and race at specific dates.

Fans: Themed virtual races provide a fun new way for fans to engage with their favorite franchise, collect theme merchandise etc

Q. WHAT is a virtual 5k?
A. A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. We will mail you your medal when we receive them.

Q.  What is included in the virtual 5k registration?

A.  Medal, bib and anything other goodies that are mailable.

Q.  WHEN do I run?

A.  Whenever you want to!

Q.  Are there any deadlines?
A.  Yes, please view the race in question (Facebook event and/or web page) BEFORE purchasing a virtual 5k registration since the medal purchase date may have passed.  Email BEFORE you register to ensure the medal purchase date has not passed.  It is your responsibility to verify this BEFORE you purchase.
