Mini-Trail Relay details.

  • Teams of 1-4.
  • Run as many times "relay-style" as you can in the time allotted.
  • You have 4 hours to complete as much mileage/loops as you want/can do on the designated trail.
  • Run in any order.
  • FUN swag for all participants, including but not limited to: medal, buff, snacks, and more!
  • Stay updated on all the deets, on our website.
  • This mini-trail relay is good for novice relay runners, as well as challenging for the teams who want to run "all the miles"!

Team Categories.

  • Men’s: All Males
  • Women: All Females
  • Mixed: Mixed gender teams with no more than 3 males

How to Register.

  • Team captains please register your team.
  • Team captains will provide the names of team members when registering.

Schedule of events:

  • 8-9am packet pickup for 5k
  • 9am 5k starts
  • 9-10am packet pickup
  • 10am - 2pm Run

Questions about registration.
Q.  Do I need to sign a waiver?

Q.  What time do I pick up my packet?
A.  8-9am for 5k; 9-10am for the relay.

Q.  When is the race?
A.  September 16, 2023

Q.  I'm doing the relay, is there anything else I need to fill out?

Q.  Where do I pick up my packet?
A.  Ravenna Park (5520 Ravenna Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105)

Q.  Can I pick up the packets for my friends?
A.  Yes, you can pick up the bib but participants must be present to redeem drink tickets (when applicable), medal, and other swag.

Q.  What is included in the registration?
A.  Registration includes run/walk, finisher's medal, race photos, and extra swag!  

Q.  When does online registration close?
A.  Online registration will close approximately 2 days prior to the race date.

Q.  Does my registration come with a shirt?
A.  It is NOT included in your registration.  It is an add-on.

Q.  Is there DAY OF Registration?

Q.  Can I get a refund or transfer?
A.  Sorry, no refunds or transfers.  Entry fees (US funds) are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Consider your fee a donation if you can no longer attend. 

​​Q.  I couldn't make it to the event, can I get my medal and bib mailed to me?
A.  No, you must attend the event to receive a medal/bib. ​  

​Q.  You canceled, can I get a refund?
A.  In an effort to promote the health of our participants, we will not issue refunds in cases of severe weather (heat or cold), smoke, or pandemic, etc. If we are forced to cancel the event due to unsafe running conditions our goal is to reschedule the date of the race. If this is not possible we intend to host a virtual event and mail participants their race packets. As per our waiver, "I understand that this event does not provide refunds in the event of cancellation, and by signing this waiver, I consent that I am not entitled to a refund if the event is canceled before or during the event."

Course Questions.
Q.  Where is the race?
A.  Ravenna Park, Seattle, WA

Q.  What is the race distance?
A.  5k option and relay distance (tbd).

Q.  Are strollers/dogs allowed?  
A.  No.  The trail does not allow strollers or dogs.

Q.  Is the course hilly?
A.  It is a trail run, with roots, and uneven terrain.  Yes, there are hills.  The trail is open to the public- please abide by park rules.

Q.  Is this event timed?
A.  We will have a clock running, but there will be no official timing.

Q.  What does a "cupless" mean?
A.  It means we are limiting the water stations at most of our races.  Please bring your own water.  We will have water jugs to refill your water bottle.

Q. Can I wear headphones?
​A. We would prefer that you do not wear headphones for safety reasons.​

​Miscellaneous questions.
Q.  Do you offer prizes for the top finishers?
A.  Sometimes.  But please remember our races are "fun runs" and our focus is on providing all of the participants a positive, inclusive, and welcoming experience.

Q.  I heard you have UW football tickets for a discounted price?
A.  Yes, we do, click HERE and attend the 11/11 and 11/25 games!

Q.  Does this race benefit anything?
A.  Proceeds will benefit MMIW: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and our inclusive female social running group.

Q. Do I need to dress up?
A. No. But you can if you'd like to.

Q.  Are you accepting shoe donations?
A.  Yes!  We accept gently-used shoe donations.  We ship to GotSneakers.  Any proceeds go directly to the Everett Animal Shelter.

Q.  Where can I park?
A.  Please arrive early to find street parking.

Q.  Is there a bag check?
A.  No.

Q.  Do you have a raffle at this race?
A.  We typically conduct raffles included in registrations or you are asked to bring a donation to participate in the raffle.  IF we have a raffle, you will get advanced notice or ask us at the registration booth.

Q.  Who are the vendors or sponsors for the races?
A.  Vendors and sponsors change per race.  We cannot guarantee any vendor or sponsor per race.  

Q.  Do you offer free coffee or ice cream with the registration?
A.  Yes, sometimes.  Please do not expect additional freebies but be grateful when they are offered.
