A.  Yes, please note, there is a $10 additional day of fee

Q. Can I get a refund or transfer to another race/runner?
A.  Yes, you can transfer to another race or runner.

  • One week prior to the race date - transfer to another race or transfer to another runner at NO CHARGE or $10 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time.
  • Less than one week prior to the race date - $10 to transfer to another race or transfer to another runner and $15 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time. These transfers will be processed after the race date.
  • If we cancel for any reason - registration fees minus admin. fees (excluding but not limited to, government mandated closure, natural disasters, fear of disease epidemic, weather, or anything beyond the control of the race directors - in these cases, please connect with us regarding transfers, deferments, virtual, and other options).
  • Please email us at to process transfers.

Q. What is a virtual 5k?

A. A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. We will mail you your medal when we receive them.
DO NOT SHOW UP TO THE EVENT.  A virtual race does not provide you with a day of registration.

Q.  Can I transfer to a virtual race or vice versa?
A.  See transfer policy

Q.  What if I'm running late?
A.  You can start the run/walk on your own and pick up your packet AFTER you complete the run/walk.

Q.  I couldn't make it to the event, can I get my medal and bib mailed to me?
A.  No, you must attend the event to receive medal/bib.  See transfer policy.

Q.  Does everyone get a finisher's medal?
A.  Please stay up to date on our race medal deadline. Each race will have a deadline to receive finisher's medals (typically 4-6 weeks prior to the race). After this date, we will no longer be guaranteeing medals.

Our 2020 goal is to produce less and waste less. If you really want a medal, register ahead of time as we will not be ordering extra medals.  After this date, we'll be using the medal fee and donating it towards the race-specific charity, our running group, and/or our gofundme fundraiser. Thank you for understanding.

Q.  Why do I need to order a guaranteed medal so far in advance for the race?
A.  Our supplier requires orders a minimum of 4-6 weeks prior to the race date.  Our 2020 is to waste less - which means we are only ordering for those that truly want a medal and not ordering extras.  Please check the race deadlines for guaranteed medals (posted on the Facebook event page).  Thank you for understanding.

Questions about the race.
Q. Do I have to run?
A. No, you can run, walk, jog, skip!

Q. Where is the course?
A. The course will be along the Everett Waterfront. This is an URBAN run/walk - no street closures and you must follow all traffic rules. There will be a running clock, but no official timing.

Q.  Is this a 5k?

A.  Yes.  But it is not a certified course.

Q.  Is this event timed?
A.  We do have a clock, but it is an unofficial race.  Starting in 2019, there will be timing, however, the events are still considered fun runs.  Race results will be posted on our main Facebook page.

Q.  What does "cupless" mean?
A.  It means we are limiting the water stations at most of our races.  Please bring your own water.
