Are you tired of not feeling safe when running alone? Worried about all of the "likely" possibilities before you lace your shoes and head outside? Are you mad, fearful, or annoyed with having to think about your safety as a runner? Whether you love running, are new to running, love to hate running - this is the run for you! All are welcomed as we hope to continue growing a community for safe group running. #MyFavorite5k

Included: Run/Walk, Medal, Bib, Photos, Wine Tasting (one tasting per registration)

We will be raising funds for our group to feel "safe" while running - such as paying for self-defense workshops, safety gear (headlamps, safety vests), self-defense tools, and more. Any excess will be donated to a local women's shelter.

This will be a low-key, no frills organized 5k inspired by true crime comedy podcast My Favorite Murder! Limited spots due to winery capacity.

Virtual 5k option: Medal, Bib will be mailed to you after the race. A Virtual 5K (or any other virtual race) is a race that you choose to complete where ever you would like. You can walk, run, use a treadmill, or participate in another race. The beauty of a virtual 5K race is that you can run the race at your pace wherever you choose. You do not need to send us proof - just send us your mailing address to mail medal, etc. Wine tasting is not included in virtual option.

Q. Is there DAY OF Registration?
A. Yes, please note, there is a $10 additional day of fee.

Q. What comes with the kid's entry?

Our goal is to offer quality races for new and novices runners & walkers - come back to our monthly races or our annual races!

Q.  Does everyone get a finisher's medal?
A.  Please stay up to date on our race medal deadline. Each race will have a deadline to receive finisher's medals (typically 4-6 weeks prior to the race). After this date, we will no longer be guaranteeing medals.

Our 2020 goal is to produce less and waste less. If you really want a medal, register ahead of time as we will not be ordering extra medals.  After this date, we'll be using the medal fee and donating it towards the race-specific charity, our running group, and/or our gofundme fundraiser. Thank you for understanding.

A.  Yes, you can transfer to another race or runner.

  • One week prior to the race date - transfer to another race or transfer to another runner at NO CHARGE or $10 to move to a virtual option (if applicable). You must be ready to select another race that is open for registration at this time.
  • Less than one week prior to the race date - $10 to transfer to another race or transfer to another runner and $15 to move to a virtual option (if applicable).
