Get this medal!
Are you tired of not feeling safe when running alone? Worried about all of the "likely" possibilities before you lace your shoes and head outside? Are you mad, fearful, or annoyed with having to think about your safety as a runner? Whether you love running, are new to running, love to hate running - this is the run for you! All are welcomed as we hope to continue growing a community for safe group running. #notanymore5k
Location to be determined: If we have low interest we will keep at Greenlake Park. If there is high interest, we will look into getting a park permit and possibly moving nearby.
Included: Run/Walk, Shirt, Medal, Bib, Goody Bag, Photos (deadlines to be updated soon)
We will be raising funds for our group to feel "safe" while running - such as paying for self-defense workshops, safety gear (headlamps, safety vests), self-defense tools, and more.

A. A Virtual 5K (or any other virtual race) is a race that you choose to complete where ever you would like. You can walk, run, use a treadmill, or participate in another race. The beauty of a virtual 5K race is that you can run the race at your pace wherever you choose. Do not show up to the race on race day, unfortunately, you will not be able to get your medal/bib.
